FAQ - CIEL Definitions
Innovative – a mindset that allows a new perspective, a new approach, a new way of looking at old problems
Entrepreneur – An individual who: 1) Sees opportunities where no one else sees them; 2) is able to rally resources, create coalitions & networks to get things done; 3) perseveres and 4) builds creative solutions to problems. An entrepreneur can be anyone, a teacher, a leader, a business person.
Leader – A person who inspires others through thought, speech & action (to think, speak & act).
Community - a group of people unified by common beliefs, goods, geographical location, objectives or goals.
Community Entrepreneurship - 1) A community's ability to act collectively to identify and take advantage of opportunities; 2) Presence of a community environment that allows entrepreneurs to flourish.
